Photos with the Bunny
It’s not Easter with getting photos of your kids with the Bunny at Kings Plaza! The Bunny will be at the plaza today and tomorrow, and photo packages start at $39.99. The photos will take place on the second level near the Verizon store. You can also book your session online ahead of time. The Kings Plaza Shopping Center is located at 5100 Kings Plaza.
Earth Rocks
Celebrate Earth Day with Earth Rocks! from now through the 19th, 10am to 5pm each day. Admission is $15 and you and your kids can enjoy hands-on activities and explorations at the Children’s Museum at 145 Brooklyn Avenue. Kids can also learn about plants, recycling and upcycling, and even see live animal programming! A great way to spend your Friday and Saturday with your family.
Spring First Discoveries
The Brooklyn Botanic Garden on 1000 Washington Avenue is hosting Spring First Discoveries every Wednesday and Friday from 10:30am to 12:30pm from now through June 13th. Admission is $22 for adults, $16 for kids 12 and older and adults 65 and older, and kids 12 and younger get in free with an adult ticket purchase. Kids four and older, along with their caregivers, can create a unique craft, pot a plant, enjoy stories, and explore nature at various Discovery Garden activity stations.
Spring Coastal Ecology for Kids
Enjoy kids’ activities with the Spring Coastal Ecology for Kids event, taking place on Saturdays, April 18th from 11am until noon. The event is free and kids and their family can enjoy an exploration hike in Canarsie Park with the Urban Park Rangers. See local flora and fauna! Canarsie Park is located at Seaview Avenue and Remsen Avenue.
Farmhouse Family Day
The Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum is located on 5816 Clarendon Road and is hosting Farmhouse Family Day on Saturday, April 19th from 11am until 3pm. Admission is free!
