The Brooklyn Children’s Theatre will be hosting their Teen Ensemble Production this weekend! The Show is from 6:30pm until 8pm and admission is free. The show is happening at the Brooklyn Music School on 126 Felix Street, and has been written by the 2024 BCT Viola Davis Summer Program Teen Class, and stars kids from the program. Lunar New Year Celebration
You and your family can celebrate the Lunar New Year on Saturday, February 8th from 1pm until 2pm at the Brooklyn Public Library on 10 Grand Army Plaza, in the Central Library. Admission is free for everyone! Artist and musician Vivian Fang Liu will take you and your family on a musical journey with stories about the Year of the Snake.
Valentine’s Day Card Workshop
Art in the park is hosting a Valentine’s Day Card Workshop on Saturday, February 8th from 1pm to 3pm. Admission is free and the workshop takes place at Shirley Chisholm State Park on the Hendrix Creek Patio on 1750 Pennsylvania Avenue. All supplies are provided, but you can bring your own material too if you want to add a little extra. This is open to all ages but kids under the age of 16 need to have an adult with them. The event is outdoors so be sure to dress for the weather!
