Play in the Park
Domino Park is hosting Play in Park: Activities for Kids and Family this Sunday, August 25th. There will be sensory play, sing-alongs, and fun adventures and activities for kids of all ages. Admission is free too! The event takes place from 10am until 11am at 15 River Street. Sunday’s Imagination Adventure will be Nature Superheroes from Treasure Trunk Theatre. The group uses props and more to create fun adventures and mysteries for kids to solve! You can learn more here.
Family Fun Day
Family Fun Day is happening on Saturday, August 24th at noon at The Backyard on 228 Linden Street. There will be a day of fun and exciting activities for kids of all ages and their families. There will be face painting, sack races, and BBQ. Fun for everyone! Learn more here.
Kids Eat Free
At The Dram Shop Bar, kids eat free every Saturday from noon to 4pm. A free meal is included with every $20 adult purchase, so the whole family can get out and enjoy a fun meal together! The Dram Shop is located at 339 9th Street, and in addition to free food there will be games and activities for kids to enjoy. This is a fun event for everyone, so mark your calendar. Family Sundays at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum
When the summer heat is too much, you can enjoy a little fun indoors at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum for Family Sundays. This takes place from 4pm to 6pm on Sunday, August 25th at 145 Brooklyn Avenue. Families get to explore the museum from 4pm to 5pm, and then enjoy another fun hour from 5pm to 6pm once the museum closes. There is outdoor play on the rooftop, and an indoor activity facilitated by Kentler International Art. Admission for up to four family members is only $9.
