The event is open to kids from babies to age 12, and takes place outdoors in the library courtyard. Kids will be divided into categories to ensure fun and fairness, with a group of ages 0 to 5 from 3pm to 3:45pm, and ages 6 to 12 from 4pm to 4:5pm. The candy will be nut-free, so no worries about allergies! Kids just need to bring their own basket.
Empire Skate of Mind
There is only about two weeks left to check out Empire Skate of Mind at the Brooklyn’s Children Museum, open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am until 5pm, and Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 2pm until 5pm. The museum is located at 145 Brooklyn Avenue. This is open to kids of all ages, and has a disco theme that is reminiscent of the legendary Empire Roller Rink from the 70s!
Annual Egg Hunt
Take part in Von King’s Annual Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4th from noon to 3pm. The event is FREE and takes place at HVK South Terrace in Herbert Von King Park on 670 Lafayette Avenue. There will be candy-filled eggs, special prizes, arts and crafts, a photo booth, and more. This event is open to all ages, so bring the entire family.
