Take your kids to Slime Studio every Monday through Thursday from 10am until 5pm, and on Sundays from 10am until 5:30pm. This is happening from now through February 18th, and admission is $19 per child, and $17 for adults. This will take place at the Jewish Children’s Museum on 792 Eastern Parkway. On January 24th at 1pm, you and your family can enjoy a free event called Wonderful Winter Wildlife at the Shirley Chisholm State Park on the Hendrix Creek Patio, located at 1750 Pennsylvania Avenue. Learn all about how wildlife survives and thrives in the coldest months of the year!
Empire Skate of Mind
The Brooklyn Children’s Museum on 145 Brooklyn Avenue is hosting a roller-skating event called Emptied Skate of Mind now through April 12th, from 10am until 5pm every Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $15 and skate rentals are $10. It’s $8 if you bring your own skates. This is fun for all ages and reminiscent of the old school disco-style skating rinks of the 70s. Located on the rooftop terrace!
Ice Skating
You can take your kids ice skating at Roebling Rink this weekend, open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am until 10pm. Admission is $16, and skate rentals are $8. There is a $5 helmet rental, and a $5 skate buddy rental for the little ones. This takes place from now through February at Roebling Rink on Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park. You can see amazing skyline views and skate for an hour. Residents can get free tickets on a first come, first severe basis. You must show a valid ID to prove residency! Tickets can be purchased online or in-person.
