Canarsie Park has the NYRR Open Run on Saturday, July 19th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and this is always a great way to get out there and meet other runners. If you enjoy lacing up your sneakers and moving, spend a little family-friendly time at the park. It should be a great day for a run!

We love Prospect Park on any day, but when it’s really humming, it’s something else. This weekend, there are a few different food-related events going on, and that means that you’d better come hungry. As usual, Smorgasburg will be setting up shop, and there are always a ton of different vendors there with all sorts of treats. It’s worth a look anytime you’re nearby.
