Petting Zoo: Live Comedy, Live Animals
You can enjoy a fun and unique night of comedy tonight from 8pm until 9:30pm. Admission is $19 and this takes place at Cloud City on 85 North 1st Street. This is the world’s only live comedy show that also features live exotic animals. Some of the best comedians in New York will be performing while also handling live birds, bugs, lizards, snakes, and more. You can also see the animals and interact with them too. A Ranger will be on hand to educate the audience and comedians about the animals too. The show is hosted by Mike Kandel and Charlie Sosnick, and features performances by Grace Reiter, Gastor Almonte, and Josh Sharp.
BAM Kids Spring Fest
The BAMkids SpringFest 2025 is taking place on Saturday, May 3rd from 10:30am until 4pm, and admission is free! The festival takes place at The Plaza at 300 Ashland on 85 Flatbush Avenue. Your family can see performances and advances from a variety of different cultures, and there will be hands-on activities too. You can also learn about caring for our environment. A fun and educational way to spend an afternoon!
Handwriting the Constitution
On Monday, May 5th from 6pm to 8pm, you can take in a free educational opportunity at The Old Stone House in Brooklyn, located at 336 3rd Street. The Old Stone House hosts a monthly social art project in which people can copy the words of the constitution by hand, all taking place in a historical site on a former Revolutionary War battleground!
