Don’t Try This At Home
STREB is featuring the Do Not Try This At Home show tomorrow from 5pm until 6pm and on Sunday from 3pm until 4pm. This features performers doing crazy feats of strength as they dodge concrete filled popes and I-beams, scale walls, and do crazy balancing acts. STREB is located at 51 North 1st Street. Admission is $25, and this is a unique and fascinating show for the whole family to enjoy!
Winged Wonders
BAM, located in the Peter Jay Sharp Building on 30 Lafayette Avenue, is hosting a Migration Winged Wonders event on Saturday, November 16th from 10:30am until 2pm. Admission is $14 for adults, and $10 for kids. They will be screening the kids movie Migration, and also offering kids a chance to create postcards, and learn all about the migration habits of birds, bees, and butterflies through creative play.
Creation Station
The New York Transit Museum on 99 Schermerhorn Street is hosting a Creation Station on Saturday, November 16th at 11am. Admission is from $5 to $10, and kids of all ages can enjoy the chance to create art inspired by the transit system. Kids can also create poetry, mosaics, and even design their own Metro card.
